Office equipment finds a new place before it becomes waste

Municipalities and companies pass on laptops, monitors and furniture. After every exchange you can see how much money and CO2e was saved.

So far on the platform

No closed exchange yet

How it works

  1. Post a listing

Photos, quantity, condition and price, with a data wipe certificate for storage devices.

  2. Claiming in rounds

First the own municipality, then every municipality, finally every member organization.

  3. Handover

Picked up, delivered or sent by courier; both sides confirm it.

  4. Savings

When the exchange closes we calculate the money and CO2e saved.

From the offer to the handover in a short video. It has music and no voice; the captions follow the language of the page, and the player's menu switches them.

What the platform does

  1. Offer what you no longer need

List surplus office equipment with photos, quantity, condition and price. Storage devices come with a data wipe certificate.

  2. Claiming in rounds

First the giver's own municipality, then every municipality, finally every member organization. The giver decides on each claim.

  3. Allocation to institutions

A municipality hands what it received on to its schools, kindergartens and other institutions, item by item.

  4. Savings on every exchange

When an exchange closes, the money and CO2e saved are calculated and recorded for good.

  5. Clear dashboards

Organizations and the operator see in charts and tables who gave, who received and what was saved.

  6. Open catalogue, simple joining

Anyone can browse the catalogue without logging in. A municipality or a company joins through the application form.

Every figure can be traced back

The savings follow published formulas and sources, and each exchange keeps the figures of the day it closed.

Read the full methodology
  • The receiver gets the credit

The saving happens where nothing new had to be bought, so it counts for the organization that received the item.

  • Emission factors with sources

Each type of equipment has a CO2e factor with a named source; an exchange uses the one in force when it closes.

  • Monthly exchange rates

Dinars and forints are converted to euros at the reference rate of the month the exchange closes.

  • Transport counted

The emissions of the trip are subtracted, so the figure shown is the net saving.

Bring your organization in

Municipalities and companies apply with a short form. Once the application is approved, the organization's owner gets an invitation.
